State Bank of India provides withdrawals between Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1 lakh using debit cards at ATMs. As per the bank, it allows up to 5 free ATM withdrawals in a month. SBI account holders have to pay additional charges if they exceed this limit.

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit per Month

SBI has not declared any specific monthly withdrawal limit via ATM. However, you should follow the daily limit for hassle-free withdrawals. Remember that you have to pay additional charges beyond the set limit. The charges applied for exceeding the withdrawal limit are Rs. 20 + GST. In case you are completing your transaction from another bankโ€™s ATM, the charge levied on you is Rs. 20 + GST.

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit per Day for Rupay Card

For SBI Rupay cards, the daily minimum withdrawal limit is Rs.100. The maximum withdrawal limit is Rs. 40,000 through ATM. Make sure you keep this withdrawal limit in mind while transacting from your nearest ATM.

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit per Day for Visa Card

SBI bank allows daily withdrawals of Rs. 40,000, which is the maximum limit using Visa debit cards. The limit for international visa debit cards is Rs.1,00,000 (maximum). However, you can change the transaction limits of your debit cards by submitting an application to the bank using the SBI Yono mobile app.

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit Without OTP

For ATM cash withdrawals, SBI allows you to withdraw up to Rs. 10,000 without the One Time Password(OTP). This rule was implemented to make your ATM transactions more secure. If you are withdrawing more than Rs. 10,000, the bank will send you an OTP on your registered mobile number. After entering the correct OTP, you can withdraw your money.

SBI has added a new layer of security to prevent fraudulent transactions via ATMs. An OTP is sent to your registered mobile number. You need to enter the OTP to verify your identity if you are trying to withdraw above Rs. 10,000. This OTP is valid for withdrawal from ATMs till your debit cardโ€™s maximum limit.

SBI Global debit card has a lot of benefits, such as cashless shopping, tap-to-pay payment options, reward points, etc. This debit card can be used internationally to withdraw money through ATMs. For domestic transactions, the minimum and maximum withdrawal limit is Rs. 100 and Rs. 40,000 respectively. For international transactions, this varies from country to country. However, the maximum limit cannot go beyond Rs. 40,000.

The actual limit depends on the type of debit card you have. You can not withdraw above the maximum amount. The one-time withdrawal limit from ATMs varies between Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,00,000. The daily transaction limit can be changed using the SBI Yono mobile application.

The withdrawal limit remains the same for non-SBI Bank ATMs. But you should keep a note that you have to pay additional charges to withdraw money if you cross the benchmark limit set by the bank. After 5 transactions with non-SBI Bank ATMs, you have to pay Rs. 20 + GST additionally for every transaction.

How To Withdraw Cash from SBI ATM?

You can withdraw money from SBI ATM by following these steps.

Step 1: Insert your debit card into the ATM

Step 2: Choose your preferred language

Step 3: Click on the โ€˜Cash Withdrawalโ€™ option

Step 4: Select your type of account

Step 5: Enter the amount you want to withdraw

Step 6: Enter your ATM Pin

Step 7: Collect cash and take out your card from the machine

Please note, for ATM transactions above Rs. 10,000 you have to enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number. Additionally, you can check your daily withdrawal limits for seamless transactions.
